Your new role
As Purchasing Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy procurement function. While the role has a strong administrative focus, the team are keen to recruit someone who can bring fresh ideas, challenge existing processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Alongside managing purchasing-related administration, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate records and databases, analysing data, producing reports, and supporting the team with information required to make informed commercial decisions. A significant proportion of the role involves working with Excel to update data, generate reports and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:
Managing customer pricing enquiries and coordinating responses with suppliers.
Producing reports and supporting the monitoring of supplier agreements and volume commitments.
Maintaining accurate procurement and supplier information within internal systems.
Supporting supplier onboarding and data management activities in line with company procedures.
Investigating invoice discrepancies and assisting with the resolution process.
Providing administrative support for cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinating meetings, maintaining records and supporting day-to-day team operations.
Assisting with onboarding and knowledge sharing for new team members.
