A large housing Association has a need for an Experienced Repairs supervisor to join their responsive maintenance team
The Role
Providing Supervisory management over a team of Multi Trade operatives, working across Void and occupied properties with day today and responsive
Repairs. Supervise the carrying out of planned maintenance activities, delivered by internal teams or contractors. • Drawing up specifications, repairs orders and contract documents for planned and reactive works. Manage internal and external contractor performance to deliver those works on time, on budget and to the required standard. Effective contract administration to include instructions, valuations, certificates, accounts and documentation. • Getting involved with tenant and leaseholder customers to improve the service.
Travel will be throughout the North Midlands region (Notts and Derby)
About You
You will need to have a HNC or have a relevant trade qualification
You will be an expert in social housing maintenance and have good IT skills.
Have experience of ownership of specific project or contract budgets and ensuring tight control over those budgets. Make recommendations on how to improve efficiency and value for money
Experience of managing trade operatives at a supervisor level
