We are seeking a sales‑driven Recruitment Consultant to join our established Construction & Property team in Chelmsford. This opportunity has arisen due to team growth, enabling you to further develop our public sector, temporary division, with significant demand across public sector property, estates, and surveying roles.
Covering Essex, Hertfordshire and South Buckinghamshire, you will partner with Property, Estates and Surveying clients—including local authorities and housing organisations—to support hiring needs from entry‑level to senior appointments. Current market conditions are positive, with:

Your New Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will:
- Conduct proactive sales activity, including cold and warm calls, to identify and engage hiring managers across Construction, Property and Public Sector Estates teams
- Develop high‑quality relationships with directors, estates leaders, property managers, and HR partners
- Recruit for a broad range of roles including Building Surveyors, Valuation Surveyors, Development Surveyors, Estates Managers and Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors
- Source and screen top‑tier candidates across private and public sectors
- Attend face‑to‑face client meetings across Chelmsford, Essex and Hertfordshire
- Prepare reports, manage candidate compliance, and contribute to internal projects
- Work to daily KPIs and revenue targets with uncapped earning potential
