This is a key role within the commercial team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of projects while working within a stable and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial Management - Take full responsibility for the commercial delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account
- Cost Control - Manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting to ensure financial targets are met
- Procurement - Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and appointment
- Subcontractor Management - Manage subcontractor accounts, variations, and payments
- Valuations - Prepare and manage applications for payment and final accounts
- Risk Management - Identify and manage commercial risks across projects
- Collaboration - Work closely with site, design, and senior management teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor.
Experience delivering projects in the £3m-£14m range.
Background across healthcare, education, or leisure projects (preferred).
Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills.
Ability to manage projects independently.
Full UK driving licence.
