With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects, they are committed to innovation, safety, and excellence in every aspect of our work. Due to continued growth, they now require a Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial Team in Mid-Ulster. Your new role You will be a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor, ideally from a background in civil engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost and contract management across a range of civil engineering projects, ensuring value for money while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. Requirements: Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents. Manage project costs from initial calculations to final accounts. Monitor and report on project progress, costs, and variations. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments. Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure financial efficiency. Prepare and evaluate subcontractor packages and procurement strategies. Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and safety regulations. Support cash flow forecasting and cost reporting. Assist in dispute resolution and claims management. What you\’ll need to succeed Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within civil engineering. Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., NEC, JCT). Proficient in Microsoft Office and cost management software.
