Operating in a fast‑paced environment with a strong commitment to excellence, the company prides itself on delivering high quality products while maintaining full compliance with customer, audit and regulatory expectations.

Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking a Quality Supervisor to support the Technical Manager and play a key role in driving quality and operational performance on site.

Your new role as Quality Supervisor involves taking a hands‑on approach to overseeing daily quality and compliance activities across production. You will work closely with the Technical Manager, production teams and QC staff to ensure the site remains audit ready at all times, particularly for unannounced BRC, customer and third‑party audits. Responsibilities include:

  • Daily start‑up checks
  • Verification of records
  • Traceability compliance
  • Continuous GMP monitoring across the factory
  • Training out new procedures
  • Supporting complaint investigations
  • Managing external laboratory submissions
  • Calibration, allergen control, micro scheduling, traceability exercises and mock recalls

This is a proactive, on‑the‑floor role where your communication, leadership and attention to detail will directly impact overall site performance.

To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience working within the food manufacturing industry, ideally in a supervisory or senior quality role with exposure to BRC, GMP standards and audit preparation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with the ability to work with people at all levels. You will be adaptable, confident and capable of giving clear instruction, following up on actions and supporting colleagues to ensure compliance. Strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workload and a proactive approach to continuous improvement are key to excelling in this position.

In return, you will join a supportive and forward thinking organisation where quality and technical standards are at the heart of operations. You will receive a competitive salary in line with your experience, a stable day‑shift pattern and the opportunity to develop your technical and supervisory expertise in a business committed to high performance.
