Quality Assurance Assistant required in Cumbernauld. I have the pleasure of representing a highly successful manufacturing client based on the outskirts of Glasgow. They are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Assistant with heavy industry experience as their product is supplied into various industries such as the O&G, construction and engineering sectors.
You will be assisting the Quality Assurance Manager and will be responsible for assisting the QA Manager with all aspects within the QA department with a focus mainly on:
- Reviewing quality of materials and certification/documents of incoming stocks
- Compilation of technical documentation packages for client inspections
- Creation of project-specific inspection Test Plans
- Hosting regular client inspection visits which can accommodate clients from out of the UK
- Coding all incoming products and carrying out physical inspections to uphold their current ISO accreditations
- Good communication skills for both customer and supplier interaction
- Oversee and optimise production operations
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards
