Qualified Teachers for Secondary Schools across West Yorkshire Required from September 2026. Hays Education are seeking a committed and adaptable Qualified Teacher (QTS) to provide day-to-day cover across a range of subjects at secondary schools across West Yorkshire. These are excellent opportunities for skilled educators looking for flexible work while making a meaningful contribution to students' learning.

About the Role:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and learning in the absence of the regular class teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Support students' progress and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with departmental and support staff

About You:

  • Fully qualified (QTS required)
  • Confident delivering lessons across a range of subjects (specialism welcome but not essential)
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to work at short notice
  • Skilled at behaviour management and building rapport with students
  • Professional, organised, and committed to safeguarding
