We’re looking for an organised and detail-driven Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a friendly, fast-paced business based close to Clifton Triangle. This is a temporary role providing essential sick-leave cover, ideal for someone with strong accounts payable experience who can hit the ground running.Key Responsibilities
- Invoice processing - matching, batching and coding supplier invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliation and resolving discrepancies
- Managing the AP inbox and responding to supplier queries
- Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely payments
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using accounting software and Excel
- Able to work independently and pick things up quickly
- A positive, proactive attitude
