Location: Predominantly remote (WFH) with flexible base across Nottingham, Birmingham or various UK locations, with occasional travel to sites across Wales.

A leading Tier 1 contractor operating within the UK water sector is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a long-term framework with Welsh Water. This is a key appointment to support the delivery of multiple schemes as part of a secured programme of AMP work.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of projects across the Welsh Water framework, taking schemes from early design through to construction and completion. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing multiple schemes concurrently across the full project lifecycle
  • Driving projects from design phase through to delivery and handover
  • Ensuring programme, cost and quality targets are achieved
  • Leading project teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring framework compliance
  • Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met across all sites

This role offers a high degree of flexibility, with the majority of work carried out remotely, supported by occasional site visits across Wales.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

  • Proven experience working within the UK water sector
  • Previous experience on Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water (DCWW) frameworks or similar
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple schemes simultaneously
  • Strong experience delivering projects from design through to build
  • Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly with travel to sites in Wales as required
