The services of Hays have been retained by our client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) to recruit a Heating Project Manager. Based from their Craigavon office within their Asset Management Project Delivery team. This organisation has more than 85,000 properties and employs 3,000 members of staff throughout NI.
Your new role
The purpose of this role is to manage the Planned Response section of a major contract and coordinate the regions response heating inspectorate team. You will also assist the senior M&E Manager in the strategic delivery of an effective regional based heating programme.

What you’ll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 2 years post qualification experience.ORBTEC HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering plus 3 years post qualification experience.ORShould you not hold the above Degree or HND/C qualification you can be eligible with 5 plus years experience in a similar role.It would be beneficial to have Gas Safe: CCNI and or OFTEC 101,105 & 600 but this is not essential.
What you’ll get in return
Salary range, up to £40,221 per annum / £20.85 per hour.You will get the opportunity to work for a large Housing Body on an ongoing temporary contract. This position offers an immediate start with weekly payment via BACS transfer with all business mileage expenses being reimbursed at 45p per mile. The role allows for an excellent work-life balance with the working hours amounting to 37 per week along with an annual holiday entitlement of 39 days inclusive of stats and Hybrid working.
