A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy are looking for Project Managers to support with experience delivering IT infrastructure and cloud platform projects, including VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) upgrade initiatives. 6-month contract, Inside IR35, £500 per day Hybrid/ London.
As a Project Manager, you will manage entire projects or work-streams on larger projects and programmes.
Responsibilities- Your main responsibility is to meet commitments to customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery of assignments as defined in project documentation.
- This includes achieving agreed financial outcomes and understanding our offerings and technology.
- Your key tasks include team management, effective communication, project controls, and delivering high-quality outcomes to customers.
- You will be working independently or as part of larger teams, with varying locations based on the assignment.
- Trained in project management methodologies like Prince2 Practitioner or Agile.
- Proven track record in delivering and managing large complex assignments successfully.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships, able to communicate using multiple methods and with project stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Ability to apply Emotional Intelligence and adapt personal style to meet customer needs.
- Skilled in influencing stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
- Understand the broader context of the project.
- Ability to articulate the value of project management to customers.
