Project Manager – 4 Months (Likely Extension) – Highways – Immediate Start – Up To Β£500 per day

Your new company
You\’ll be joining a major consultancy delivering large scale infrastructure projects across the West Midlands. They have a strong pipeline of work and are expanding their project management capability to support ongoing highways programmes. This is a contract opportunity offering stability, professional development, and the chance to work within a high performing project environment.

Your new role
You will take responsibility for managing and supporting highways related projects. The role involves producing high quality project management deliverables, preparing and checking documentation, coordinating work across multiple disciplines, and engaging with clients and suppliers on day to day queries. You\’ll also supervise junior members of the team and step into people management duties when required.

What you\’ll need to succeed

  • Experience working on highways or infrastructure projects
  • SMSTS qualification (Essential)
  • Understanding of Tier 1 contractors or large framework environments
  • Ability to produce and review project documentation independently
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness and familiarity with project management tools
  • Confidence coordinating workloads and supporting junior colleagues
