Our client is looking for an experienced Programme Manager, who can manage the end-to-end delivery of large programmes, ensuring they meet governance, reporting, and operational KPIs. You will take on complex projects and drive them to successful completion.
Shifts: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)
The must haves:
- Strong programme management experience with complex projects.
- Expertise in business case development, cost and benefit estimation, and risk management.
- Resilient and adaptable, with a focus on outcomes and results.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to drive actions through.
- Background in telecoms is a big plus.
- Adept at managing change and working with executive boards and shareholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of a large programme, initially observing an external delivery provider.
- Adapt and take over the programme, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Lead a team of Project Managers to deliver a programme of projects and initiatives successfully.
- Provide expertise in business cases, cost and benefit estimates, programme plans, and risk mitigation.
- Set and manage targets and milestones for delivery speed and quality.
- Foster a one-team ethos, optimizing delivery plans and efficiency with stakeholders and team members.
- Report project status, issues, risks, and financial monitoring to sponsor groups.
- Identify and manage dependencies within and across portfolios.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including Directors.
