Our client is looking for an experienced Programme Manager, who can manage the end-to-end delivery of large programmes, ensuring they meet governance, reporting, and operational KPIs. You will take on complex projects and drive them to successful completion.

Shifts: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)

The must haves:

  • Strong programme management experience with complex projects.
  • Expertise in business case development, cost and benefit estimation, and risk management.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with a focus on outcomes and results.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to drive actions through.
  • Background in telecoms is a big plus.
  • Adept at managing change and working with executive boards and shareholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of a large programme, initially observing an external delivery provider.
  • Adapt and take over the programme, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
  • Lead a team of Project Managers to deliver a programme of projects and initiatives successfully.
  • Provide expertise in business cases, cost and benefit estimates, programme plans, and risk mitigation.
  • Set and manage targets and milestones for delivery speed and quality.
  • Foster a one-team ethos, optimizing delivery plans and efficiency with stakeholders and team members.
  • Report project status, issues, risks, and financial monitoring to sponsor groups.
  • Identify and manage dependencies within and across portfolios.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including Directors.
