We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead and manage procurement activities across the Professional Services category. This is a pivotal role within our Commercial and Procurement team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and value-for-money procurement solutions that support the organisation's strategic objectives.

  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes for complex and high-value professional services contracts.
  • Develop and implement category strategies aligned with the Procurement Strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, Procurement Act 2023, and internal governance.
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders on procurement best practices, market engagement, and contract management.
  • Draft and manage tender documentation, evaluation reports, and contract award recommendations.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support contract management to drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to procurement transformation projects and innovation initiatives.

Proven experience in public sector procurement, particularly within Professional Services (e.g., legal, consultancy, HR, finance). Strong knowledge of UK public procurement legislation and frameworks. Demonstrable experience in category management and strategic sourcing. Ability to manage multiple complex procurement projects simultaneously. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Proficiency in using e-procurement systems and tools. Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIPS Level 4 or above).
