Your new company
We are working with an exciting accounting firm who have gone through major changes in 2025! This business is in the City and is growing their procurement delivery function, which you could be part of. Even though this role is initially a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, there is potential for this to be extended or made permanent, so certainly great opportunities here.
Your new role
As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for a newly created function sitting between the Head of Procurement and other members of the team. You will work as a Business Partner with key stakeholders across the Group, the main project pipeline being within technology software applications within the first 6 months. You will lead high-value and complex projects, from sourcing to contract negotiations, to contract signature and supplier management. You may deputise from time to time when the Head of Procurement is on leave, and act as a mentor to other members of the team.
What you\'ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be highly organised to manage a pipeline of key projects and manage the contract repository. You will have proven experience of end-to-end procurement, ideally across technology software, but certainly across indirect services. You must be able to commute into London twice per week (zone 1) as this is the hybrid working policy. You will ideally be able to start by the end of September/ early October to pick up projects right away.
