Hays are working in partnership with a leading organisation to recruit a Procurement & Contracts Manager to join their team.
Your new role
You will lead and manage day-to-day procurement and contract management activities, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering procurement plans, managing supplier relationships, monitoring contract performance, and providing expert advice to internal stakeholders. You will also oversee reporting for senior leadership, drive continuous improvement in procurement systems, and support collaborative frameworks.
What you\’ll need to succeed
- Degree (or equivalent) plus MCIPS membership, or 5+ years\’ procurement experience in a large organisation.
- Experience in at least two of the following:
- Contracts management
- Operational procurement
- Procurement legislation and contract law
- 2+ years\’ experience managing a team in a target-driven environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships.
- Driving licence or access to transport.
