Your new company A well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Cheshire is looking to strengthen its specialist transactions offering with the appointment of a Transactions Tax Manager or Senior Manager. The firm advises an established owner-managed and entrepreneurial client base and has developed a strong track record supporting shareholders and businesses through transactions, including business sales, acquisitions, reorganisations and Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs).Joining an experienced team, you will take a key role in advising clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on the tax aspects of deals.Providing tax advice on business transfers, reorganisations and restructuring. Undertaking and overseeing tax due diligence assignments. Advising on the tax implications and structuring of transactions. The work is heavily tax-led, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career specifically within transactions while retaining broad exposure to different types of deals. Strong technical tax knowledge. Experience within transactions, corporate tax or tax advisory. Exposure to areas such as due diligence, business sales, acquisitions, reorganisations or EOTs would be advantageous. Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to work directly with business owners and senior stakeholders.
