This respected MEP consultancy has built an enviable reputation working on quality cultural and heritage buildings over the past 9 decades. With a network of larger international offices, their smaller local team in London is experiencing a period of growth following new project wins. Projects include conversion of heritage and listed buildings, museums and galleries, cultural spaces, and more. With a design focused culture, an informal office feel, and a love of socialising, the London team are seeking a like-minded engineer to take a new role as a mechanical lead.
Your new role
You will take the lead on all mechanical matters for the London team of 8 engineers and consultants. You will work across all projects, work closely with your clients, attend sites, supervise the work of junior engineers, and actively work on mechanical designs. You will also support the London office leadership by working closely with the office lead.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be working as a senior or principal mechanical design engineer at a quality consultancy. You will have experience working across multiple project types and buildings, including some experience of heritage, cultural, or commercial projects. You will have a creative and problem-solving mentality, able to take complex challenges and find excellent design solutions. You have an excellent client-facing personality, and be able to work closely with other industry professionals. You will have relevant qualifications in engineering.
