Your new role
As a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer, you will lead and deliver multiple medium to large-scale projects, covering all aspects of electrical design within a consultancy environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing electrical services from concept through to completion across various sectors
- Producing detailed design calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings
- Conducting site surveys and construction stage duties
- Liaising with clients and multidisciplinary design/construction teams
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Mentoring junior and intermediate engineers
- Supporting directors with resource planning and team management
- Contributing to fee estimates and bid submissions
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards it
- Proven experience managing building services projects from concept to handover
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and project cost control experience
- Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and develop a team
- Knowledge of sustainable design and renewable technologies
- Proficiency in digital tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Relux, Dialux, Amtech, NBS, and Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence
