An opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Teacher to work within a medium-sized Primary School situated within the Cardiff County Borough. The school prides themselves on having an inclusive and supportive environment for both staff and pupils. If successful, you will be working with a helpful and caring Senior Leadership Team as well as excellent supporting staff.
Your new role:
This role is based in a primary setting covering years 1 through 6, working 5 days a week. You will be responsible for full-time teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation and assessment. The class sizes vary between 20 and 30 pupils. You will be assisted by qualified supporting staff throughout the working day. You will work together to create and deliver a high standard of learning materials covering the school curriculum and ensuring that you maintain an inclusive, welcoming environment for all staff and pupils alike.

What you’ll need to succeed:
You will need to be a qualified teacher holding a valid QTS with a passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment for children to succeed. You will need previous experience of working with children aged 3-11, as well as to show you can vary your learning approach to suit pupils’ needs. You will hold a DBS check or be willing to undertake one. Some key attributes required will be for you to be enthusiastic, respectful, dedicated, empathetic and have a caring persona. Additional relevant skills include being reliable and providing a calm response whilst in the classroom. Good time management skills are necessary for the role.
