Overview: Hays are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee civils delivery on a Water Treatment plant in the Preston area. Experience on previous Water projects is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day Civils activities: concrete, drainage, ducting, chambers, structural works
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure adherence to drawings, RAMS, and programme
  • Lead site safety, quality checks, briefings, and inspections
  • Maintain accurate site records, permits, and reporting
  • Liaise with project management, design teams, and client representatives
  • Identify risks, support short term planning, and maintain progress

Requirements:

  • Gold CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
  • Strong understanding of CDM, temporary works, and permit systems
  • Effective communicator with strong organisational skills
