We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor / ER Advisor / Employer Relations Advisor for an initial 3‐month contract via Hays. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to play a key role in delivering a high-quality, proactive Employee Relations service, supporting managers and staff across a complex, multi-site environment.
You will join a busy ER function and be responsible for managing casework, providing expert advice, and supporting the delivery of people initiatives that improve workforce experience and organisational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of employee relations issues including:
- Absence and ill-health
- Disciplinary and grievance
- Performance and capability matters
- Proven experience in an Employee Relations / HR Advisory role, ideally within the public sector.
- Strong experience managing ER casework end-to-end.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR policies.
- Confident advising managers and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a busy caseload.
- Available at short notice / immediately (highly desirable).
- 3 months + contract via Hays online time sheets.
- Full time.
