Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate (NQ-3 PQE) to join a well-established claimant Clinical Negligence team based in Southampton. You will manage your own varied caseload with guidance from senior colleagues, working exclusively on claimant matters involving misdiagnosis, delayed treatment, surgical errors, birth and maternity injuries, and other complex medical negligence cases.
You will support clients through sensitive and often emotional circumstances, providing clear, empathetic and practical legal advice. You will collaborate with medical experts and colleagues to secure answers, accountability and fair compensation for individuals and families impacted by negligent medical treatment. The role offers strong client contact and the opportunity to contribute to a team culture that prioritises quality work, learning and genuine care.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified solicitor (NQ-3 PQE) or bring equivalent experience with a strong interest in clinical negligence work. You will have excellent analytical and drafting skills, with the ability to navigate evidence-heavy, detail-driven claims.
