Our Client was created in 1964. They are a higher education institute who are looking for a Porter to join their facilities team on a permanent basis.

Your new roleAs a porter you will be assigned a variety of tasks to complete including ensuring you are achieving all the KPI’s. Below are listed the tasks you will need to complete on a day to day basis.

  • Furniture moves
  • preparing lecture theatres
  • assisting in preperation for events, conferences & functions
  • undertaking driving duties
  • Log secure mail in delivery register
  • Dealing with staff/student enquiries/requests on post room or portering matters
  • Managing Deliveries
  • Assisting in preparation for events, conferences & functions.
  • What you’ll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will need to require the relevant experience in a facilities workspace, ideally within a corporate environment. You will require the following:

  • Secondary school educated
  • Communication Skills
  • Basic H&S knowledge
  • Team working skills
  • written and verbal skills
  • clean drivers licence (preferred)
