Your new company is a national company located in Exeter. This role is a long-term temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent. The role is full-time, paying £14.60 per hour, with working hours from 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 4.00pm Friday (39.5 hours per week), including a 30-minute lunch break.
Your new role includes:
- Daily monitoring of Engineers using Tom Tom Tracking.
- Maintaining the Planner Group.
- Monitoring and recording engineer's absence.
- Making daily calls to engineers to update on previous days' jobs and plan for the current day.
- Ensuring all calls are answered within three rings.
- Allocating breakdowns and jobs to relevant engineers and ensuring job transfers.
- Regular communication with customers to provide updates on job status and engineer attendance.
- Communicating with suppliers regarding work to be carried out.
- Chasing and approving 3rd party job sheets.
- Creating and converting quotations to a CS order and checking parts deliveries for planning.
- Daily monitoring of the work in progress list to progress orders with full parts deliveries for completion.
- Producing invoice reports for customer-specific reporting.
- Opening service reports and chasing missing supplier invoices or outstanding parts.
- Creating interrupted service reports for invoicing and technical completion.
- Producing a monthly consolidation of all invoices.
- Resolving service reports with van stock errors.
- Changing and checking new service reports received from engineers.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to plan, organise, prioritise, and direct jobs accordingly.
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Previous experience within a customer service office/environment and demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Commercial understanding and the ability to make decisions in a pressurised environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows packages (Word, Excel, Internet, etc.).
