Hays Belfast are proud to be representing an award-winning family run contractor in their search for an experienced Planner. With 40 years of experience in the industry and a combined experienced team across multiple sectors of construction, your new employer are a diverse company, providing solutions for public and private sectors and have completed a range of projects across housing, education, healthcare and transport sectors. Based out of their headquarters in Mid-Ulster while also having offices across the UK and fantastic future works secured, they are now seeking to expand their headcount.
Your new role
As a Construction Planner, you will play a crucial role in the planning and scheduling of our construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, site managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project plans are developed, maintained, and communicated effectively. Your primary goal will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to have previous experience within a similar role at a similar level ideally with 3+ years of experience. Ideally proficient in the use of Microsoft Project & Asta with a proven track record of use during past projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent organisational and time-management abilities, are essential. You will need effective communication and interpersonal skills, along with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating project risks. Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field are also required.
