We are looking for talented individuals to join our intern programme in July 2024 for 12 months, in London- working in the Global Marketing Department, focusing on social media.
Recruitment is an exciting industry, fast-paced, competitive, and people-orientated, pulling on all the skills needed to run your own business and learning the ins and outs of Global Acquisition and Enablement Marketing.

What should I expect in the Internship?
Our award-winning intern programme will give you a unique insight into the world of work and hands-on experience of life in business.
Our 12-month internship will see you playing a pivotal role in supporting the Global Acquisition and Social Media team in enhancing Hays\’ profile and reputation within the organization.
You will contribute to the effective delivery of content creation and wider social media platforms.
On completion you’ll be equipped with the skills you’ll need to succeed once you finish university, with many of our interns returning to Hays after completing their studies to take advantage of our Executive Marketing roles throughout numerous specialisms.
The skills you will develop will include but not be limited to:
- Content creation for all Global Social Media Channels.
- Taking leadership of what is posted on LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and X.
- Assisting in delivering content campaigns.
- Regularly updating internal stakeholders of events and new content throughout the business.
- Collaborating with the in-house design team on new content to share
What you’ll need to succeed
- Passion to succeed and be part of a fast-paced inclusive environment.
- Passion for Social Media and content creation
- Basic knowledge of current communication technology, including SharePoint, Salesforce, Google Analytics, MS Stream, and other digital-based communication tools.
- IT literacy with basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to prioritize workload, work effectively under pressure, adhere to approval processes, and brand guidelines, and meet strict deadlines.
- An organized and methodical approach to tasks.
- An agile approach to work, with the ability to deliver on fast turn-around times.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to contribute to the overall communications team.
