As a Project Engineer or Section Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, coordination and delivery of construction activities on water infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities will include:
Managing engineering activities on site to ensure safe and efficient project delivery Producing, reviewing and implementing method statements and risk assessments Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers Ensuring work is delivered in accordance with design specifications and quality standards Supporting programme delivery and progress reporting Managing technical queries and liaising with designers and project teams Reviewing drawings and ensuring works are constructed to current revisions Maintaining quality assurance documentation and site records Assisting with cost control, forecasting and project reporting Promoting a positive health, safety and environmental culture on site What you'll need to succeed Previous experience working as a Project Engineer or Section Engineer within the water sector Good understanding of construction methods, quality processes and site engineering controls CSCS card Relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent) Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Full UK driving licence Desirable SMSTS or SSSTS Temporary Works knowledge Experience working within a regulated utility environment NEC contract awareness What you'll get in return Long-term contract opportunities Projects across a major UK water framework Opportunities available at multiple locations throughout the region Strong pipeline of secured work Career development opportunities within a growing framework team What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
