This business offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a high-performing supply chain and order management function.
Your new role: You will be joining the Customer Order Management team on a 6-month temporary contract, providing essential administrative support across the full order life cycle. This is a hybrid role based in Peterborough, with 3 days per week on-site, alongside occasional attendance at workshops, audits, or key meetings.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing customer orders accurately and within set deadlines
- Supporting the order life cycle through data processing and information collation
- Allocating parts to orders within internal systems
- Preparing and issuing export and shipping documentation
- Maintaining and cleansing system data to ensure accuracy
- Supporting new customer setups and credit/debit administration
- Producing and distributing internal reports
- Identifying process improvements and escalating issues where necessary
You will work towards team targets, including high levels of accuracy, productivity, and turnaround times, contributing to a fast-paced and detail-focused environment.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in order management, administration, or a similar role, or transferable skills from a fast-paced data-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to process high volumes of information accurately
