We're pleased to be on the preferred supplier list for this internationally recognised engineering and manufacturing organisation in Peterborough, known for its innovation, operational excellence and commitment to developing its people. With a collaborative and structured working environment, this business offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a high-performing supply chain and order management function as we recruit 2 admin temps for them.
You will be joining the Customer Order Management team on a 6-month temporary contract, providing essential administrative support across the full order life cycle. This is a hybrid role based in Peterborough, with 3 days per week on-site (including regular team collaboration days), alongside occasional attendance at workshops, audits or key meetings.
- Supporting the order life cycle through data processing and information collation
- Preparing and issuing export and shipping documentation
- Maintaining and cleansing system data to ensure accuracy
- Supporting new customer setups and credit/debit administration
Previous experience in order management, administration or a similar role, or transferable skills from a fast-paced data-driven environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to process high volumes of information accurately. Comfortable working with repetitive tasks while maintaining consistency and quality. Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
