We're working with a well-established and successful company in Brigg that is looking to welcome a Purchase Ledger Clerk into its friendly finance team on a permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Purchase Ledger Manager, you'll play an important role in keeping the finance function running smoothly. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing a high volume of supplier invoices, matching, batching and coding invoices, reconciling supplier statements, resolving queries, preparing payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records. You'll also have the opportunity to support month-end activities and work closely with colleagues across the wider finance team. We're looking for someone who already has experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You'll have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the confidence to communicate effectively with both suppliers and colleagues. Experience using finance systems and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel will be highly beneficial.
