An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a values-led, charitable organisation as a Senior HR Advisor / HR Business Partner. Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide strategic and operational HR support across the employee lifecycle, helping to drive organisational performance, employee engagement and positive cultural change.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop the People team, providing effective supervision, coaching and performance management to ensure the delivery of a professional, accurate and customer-focused HR service.
Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement people strategies that support organisational objectives, enhance employee engagement and contribute to long-term growth and success.
Build strong partnerships with managers to understand workforce challenges and priorities, supporting workforce planning, organisational design, talent development and succession planning initiatives.
Provide practical,mercially focused advice and guidance to managers, enabling early resolution of people issues and promoting positive employee relations oues.
Take the lead onplex and sensitive employee relations matters, ensuring fair, timely and legallypliant resolutions whilst reducing organisational risk.
Support leaders in creating high-performing teams through coaching, constructive challenge and expert guidance, strengthening management capability and ensuring the consistent application of policies and best practice.
Act as a trusted advisor on organisational change programmes, including restructures and TUPE transfers, ensuringpliance with employment legislation and supporting employees throughout periods of transition.
Oversee recruitment and onboarding activities, ensuring inclusive hiring practices, an excellent candidate experience and robustpliance with safer recruitment requirements and pre-employment processes.
Drive continuous improvement across HR processes, policies and services, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the employee experience and improve operational effectiveness.
Establish and maintain credible relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, delivering responsive, pragmatic and solution-focused People support that adds measurable value.
Monitor legislative developments, employment law changes and emerging HR best practice, translating insights into effective people initiatives and workforce strategies that support organisational resilience and future success.

Essential Requirements
Demonstrable experience in a People Partner, Senior HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or similar generalist HR role in the UK and be able to demonstrate experience of working to new UK employment law changes
Previous line management experience, with the ability to lead, support and develop team members through effective supervision and performance management.
Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of employment law, HR best practice and equality legislation.
Experience managing a broad range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and redundancy processes.
Practical experience supporting organisational change, including TUPE transfers, employee consultation and due diligence activities.
Proven ability to coach, influence and constructively challenge managers to support effective decision-making and improve people management capability.
Excellent written and verbalmunication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise and accurate reports and correspondence.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to managepeting priorities, meet deadlines and maintain high service standards in a busy environment.
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information, identify solutions and make informed decisions.
Experience handling confidential and sensitive information whilst maintainingpliance with GDPR and data protection requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems, with the ability to analyse data and resolve system-related issues.
CIPD Level 5 qualified, or able to demonstrate equivalent professional knowledge and experience gained through practice.
A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business travel.
