A growing, community-focused organisation currently seeking a People Operations Manager to lead a small, passionate HR team through an exciting period of transformation.Excellent fit for an experienced HR Manager, with strong knowledge of current employment law and a broad range of experience with complex ER casework management, who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys relationship building, coaching and developing others.
Your New Role
Reporting to the Head of People and managing a team of 4 (3 People Advisors and 1 Administrator), you will support a wide range of people initiatives and operational HR activities including:
- Day-to-day leadership of the People team, ensuring high-quality HR service delivery across the employee lifecycle.
- Oversight of ER cases - coaching advisors on lower-level issues and leading on complex matters.
- Partnering with directorates to support strategic people initiatives.
- Supporting cultural change and modernisation of systems and processes.
- TUPE and change management.
- Supporting wellbeing and engagement during a period of change.
- Driving forward key projects including:
- EDI strategy
- Line Manager Capability Programme
- Behavioural Framework launch
- Employee Engagement tools
- Terms & Conditions review
What You\'ll Need to Succeed
- Proven HR management experience and complex ER casework expertise.
- Comfortable navigating change and ambiguity.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills.
- Relationship builder with a proactive, people-first approach.
- Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
- Experience in regulated environments is welcomed.
