Your new company: You’ll be joining a leading rail and civil engineering contractor with a strong pipeline of North West infrastructure work. The business is delivering a reinstatement and earthworks package following the installation of a new rail bridge, with further projects scheduled in Liverpool and Manchester, offering excellent extension opportunities.

Your new role: As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial ownership of the reinstatement works, focusing on final accounts, compensation events, cost reporting, and commercial close-out under the NEC contract suite. You will lead and mentor two Quantity Surveyors reporting into you and maintain a strong site presence, spending two days per week in Penrith to support commercial governance and progress monitoring.

  • Confidence handling compensation events, early warnings, and change control.
