Part-time Year 2 Teaching role starting in January

Hays are working with a primary school in the SouthBristol area to help recruit for a part-time Year 2 Teaching job. This job willstart in January 2025 and will initially run until the Easter half-term in2025, with the possibility of being extended until the end of the summer term.You will be joining a supportive network of staff at this school and workcollaboratively to push children to reach their potential.

Your new role
Thisjob role will see you take on full teaching responsibilities on a part-timebasis for this Year 2 class, so you will be responsible for planning anddelivering engaging and effective lessons to meet the needs and the interestsof your pupils. You will need to work closely with other staff members,including teaching assistants, to ensure all children have access to thelearning materials. You will be expected to immerse yourself in up-and-comingcommunity extracurricular events and strengthen existing communityrelationships.

What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position,you must possess recent experience working with children. Subject leadership isdesired, but not essential for this role. Applicants must hold QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS). ECT’s and NQT’s are also welcome to apply.
