This small business is looking for a part-time Finance Manager to be part of the senior management team.
Your new role
You will be a skilled and dedicated Finance Manager responsible for managing financial operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial support. Working as part of a team, you will support decision-making, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. You will also play an essential role in monitoring and improving financial processes to ensure the effective allocation of resources.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all finance and day-to-day accounting operations
- Overseeing financial planning, reporting, and budget management
- Managing the end-to-end audit process and preparation of year-end statutory accounts
- Handling company bank accounts, supplier payments, cash flow, and budgets
- Providing financial insights and reports to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making
- Completing monthly payroll and ensuring compliance with HMRC, financial regulations, and funding guidelines
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified accountant or qualified by experience having worked for a SME or small charity, with experience including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and year-end statutory accounts. Strong Excel along with good communication skills.
What you'll get in return
This is a part-time hybrid role for circa 24 hours a week, 1 -2 days a week on site, pension plus 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
