A well-established organisation in York is seeking a part-time Finance Administrator to join their finance team on a temporary basis while they recruit permanently.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for flexible hours and immediate work within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments Raising sales invoices and allocating receipts Supporting bank reconciliations Maintaining accurate financial records and databases Resolving finance-related queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders Assisting with month-end administration General finance and office administration duties as required What We're Looking For Previous experience in a Finance Administrator, Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant role Good understanding of purchase ledger and sales ledger processes Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively What's on Offer Part-time hours of 21 per week Flexible working pattern available Immediate start Temporary assignment with the potential to run whilst a permanent recruitment process is completed Friendly and supportive team environment York-based office location What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
