Part-Time Accounts Assistant | Formby | Hybrid Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Part-Time) Location: Formby, Liverpool (Hybrid Working Available) Salary :£28,000 FTE (Pro Rata for 25 Hours per Week) Hours: 25 hours per week (Flexible working pattern, with increased availability expected around month-end and year-end) About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a part-time basis. You’ll be involved in a variety of finance and administrative tasks, working closely with colleagues across the business.

Key Responsibilities: Process purchase invoices, payments, and staff expenses Reconcile bank transactions and supplier statements Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Assist in ensuring financial compliance and adherence to internal controls Support the finance team with administrative tasks and document management Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional administrative needs Assist with preparation for audits and financial reporting periods Respond to internal and external queries in a timely and professional manner What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in a finance or accounts support role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team A flexible approach, especially around key reporting periods What We Offer: Hybrid working – a mix of home and office-based work 13% employer pension contribution Free onsite gym Study support and opportunities for training and progression Friendly and supportive team environment Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle If you are interested in this role then please call me on 0151 242 0740 4691783
