This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paint shop professional to take ownership of a busy department, leading a team responsible for delivering high-quality finishing standards while ensuring productivity, efficiency and customer delivery targets are met. Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in driving quality, continuous improvement and team performance. Your new role Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Paint Department, ensuring production schedules, quality standards and health and safety requirements are consistently achieved. Key responsibilities include: Supervising and coordinating all Paint Department activities. Planning and monitoring daily production schedules to meet customer requirements. Ensuring all painting, coating and finishing processes meet company quality standards. Leading, motivating and developing department personnel. Managing labour allocation and departmental resources to maximise efficiency. Conducting quality inspections and implementing corrective actions where required. Monitoring paint consumption, stock levels and materials to minimise waste and control costs. Ensuring spray booths, equipment and machinery are maintained and operated safely. Working closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance teams to resolve issues. Maintaining production records, quality documentation and KPI reports.
