P6 Planner (Primavera) required on a permanent basis for a leading London based design management consultancy supporting architectural practices.
The ideal candidate will come from a strong planning background with extensive experience with P6 - making sure project schedules are set up, maintained, and organised appropriately.
In this role you will:
- Plan, set up and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 using design management input.
- Follow project planning processes on all assigned projects.
- Progress reporting.
- Highlight any deviation within the programme to the Design Manager and assist with appropriate planning advice.
- Implement planning logic, understand interdependencies and knock-on effects.
- Highlight critical path and appropriate resource & cost loading.
- Track baseline vs actual progress on schedules.
- Efficiently set out potential delays and advise on the likely impacts.
- Liaise with client-side planners to understand their needs and expectations.
- Highlight risks / raise early warnings with possible impacts to project schedule and Design Management team.
You must have:
- Hands on proficiency and experience with Primavera P6.
- You should be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and MS Project.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to balance / manage competing priorities.
- An understanding of the design process is advantageous.
