Site Manager required in Bexhill. We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Site Manager for a long-term contractual role in Bexhill, East Sussex with a well-known Tier 1 contractor working on a large-scale commercial project in East Sussex. Shifts will require some split shift working weekends and evenings. Saturday shifts and out of hours working paid at time and a half £375 per day.
Your job role:
- Manage and direct labour, equipment and resources to achieve project completion on time and within budget.
- Carry out weekly safety inspections and maintain health and safety at all times in accordance with the NHBC standards.
- Attend weekly site meetings with the sales team.
- Liaise with the Buying and Surveying team to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Manage and co-ordinate subcontractors on site to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
- Manage site teams and monitor performance, implement corrective actions as needed.
- Liaise with other departments of the business and attend meetings when required.
- Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks for new personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities and project documentation.
- Ensure 100% customer satisfaction surveys.
Requirements:
- You hold a relevant construction qualification or accreditation (Degree/ HND/ Technical Trade etc).
- You can demonstrate significant experience managing within the construction main contractor.
- Have had previous Tier 1 Contractor experience in a similar role.
- You hold SMSTS, First Aid qualification.
- Black or Gold CSCS Card.
