A warm, busy, and well-established nursery is seeking a dedicated Assistant Nursery Manager to join the team on a full-time basis. This maternity-cover role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional ready to take the next step in their career.
You will work alongside the Nursery Manager for three days each week, and take full responsibility for the setting on two days (Monday and Friday). The role involves supporting the overall management, planning, and development of the nursery under the guidance of the Operations Manager and Nursery Manager.
We are seeking someone who can:
- Lead, motivate, and support a staff team
- Communicate confidently and professionally at all levels
- Contribute to a positive, nurturing, and high-quality childcare environment
The ideal candidate may currently be:
- A strong Room Leader with experience running a nursery independently.
- A Third in Charge
- A Deputy Manager looking for progression
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
- At least 5 years post-qualification experience
- Minimum Grade 4 in Maths and English
