Are you an experienced School Administrator looking for a new exciting role? I am working with a school in Nottingham seeking an organised, proactive administrator to support their Head of Careers on a long-term basis.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

  • Coordinating and sending out the school's regular Careers newsletters
  • Organising mock interview schedules for students, ensuring their needs and aspirations are considered
  • Communicating professionally with external employers to arrange opportunities
  • Supporting the organisation of student work experience placements
  • Creating and uploading careers information, updates, and news to the school's reception TV display
  • Updating notice boards around the school with fresh, relevant content
  • Providing efficient day‑to‑day admin support to the Head of Careers

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Previous school-based administrative experience is essential
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking with employers, parents, and staff
  • Excellent organisation, accuracy, and the ability to prioritise tasks independently
  • A professional, calm approach within a busy environment
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
