Your new company

Are you a quality-driven professional with a strong engineering foundation and a passion for building robust systems that make operations safer, smarter, and more consistent? We are looking for a Quality, Health & Safety Manager who will take ownership of the QHSE strategy and lead the charge in elevating standards across the business.

Your new role

  • Quality Strategy - Develop, implement, and continuously refine our Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer expectations.
  • Process Improvement - Drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and long-term preventive measures across engineering and production.
  • Health & Safety Oversight - Maintain a safe working environment through audits, risk assessments, and proactive safety initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership - Partner with engineering, operations, and senior leadership to embed quality into every stage of the product life cycle.
  • Compliance & Auditing - Lead internal audits, manage external certification bodies, and ensure documentation is always audit-ready.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A strong engineering background - mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, or similar.
  • Proven experience in quality management, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.
  • Solid understanding of ISO 9001, continuous improvement tools (5 Whys, FMEA, Six Sigma), and risk-based thinking.
  • Confident communicator who can influence, coach, and challenge.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for building systems that prevent problems rather than react to them.
  • Health & Safety qualified (Nebosh Gen Cert/Diploma).

What you'll get in return

Working 37.5 hours, with an early finish on Friday. Salary range £50-60k, enhanced pension, 25+8 holidays, free parking, 4 x life assurance, enhanced sick pay scheme following probationary period. Annual management bonus.
