Your new role involves working on a major highways improvement scheme in the Norfolk region. The project team is seeking an experienced Sub Agent with a strong background in infrastructure works involving structures. The successful candidate will support the Site Agent in the effective and professional supervision of site activities, including the management of subcontract packages, ensuring all works are delivered in line with company procedures, programme requirements, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Produce a detailed 3-month lookahead for your section of works, supported by shorter-term 2- and 4-week lookaheads.
  • Record and monitor progress against planned production, communicating updates clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop construction plans for your section, considering sequencing, constraints, and interfaces, and ensure these are communicated effectively.
  • Manage, supervise, train, and mentor the site team to ensure they perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain strong communication with engineers, supervisors, enabling functions, designers, and client representatives.
