As a Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the delivery of multiple mechanical projects from inception through to completion and handover. You will oversee programme delivery, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification.

Your role will involve managing site teams and subcontractors, maintaining strong relationships with clients and consultants, and ensuring commercial performance across your projects. You will also be responsible for reviewing technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant mechanical standards, and driving high levels of quality across all installations, including HVAC, pipework, and plumbing systems.

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager or Senior Mechanical Project Manager
  • Background working for a mechanical or M&E contractor
  • Experience delivering projects across commercial and/or industrial sectors
  • Strong experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good commercial awareness and cost control experience
  • Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. NVQ / City & Guilds / HNC in Mechanical Engineering)
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building services systems
  • Full UK driving licence
