HVAC Engineer Opportunity
Are you an experienced HVAC Engineer looking for a role where your skills make a real impact?
We're recruiting for a skilled HVAC Engineer to join a specialist facilities maintenance and engineering team supporting a high-profile defence estate. Working across a variety of commercial and residential buildings, you'll play a key role in maintaining critical infrastructure through both planned and reactive maintenance activities.

The Role
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you'll be part of a small HVAC team responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across HVAC systems.
Reactive fault finding, diagnosis and repair.
Minor installation, refurbishment and upgrade works.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and within agreed timescales.
Accurately completing job documentation and service records.
Working in line with Health & Safety regulations, RAMS, COSHH and RIDDOR requirements.
Liaising professionally with site stakeholders, contractors and operational teams.
Supporting the delivery of a first-class maintenance service within a secure environment.
The role offers a good balance of independent working and collaboration with wider engineering and operational teams.
What We're Looking For
Essential
City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning or equivalent.
F-Gas Category 1 qualification.
Proven experience carrying out HVAC maintenance and repairs.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance.
Desirable
Experience working within commercial or government facilities environments.
Knowledge of MOD standards and JSP 375.
Hydrocarbon refrigerant qualification.
First Aid qualification.
Additional Health & Safety certifications.
