With an increasing workload and exciting project pipeline, we are looking to bring on an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team.

The Role

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of electrical building services across a diverse range of projects, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. You will take ownership of projects from initial concept through to completion, working closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

  • Lead the design and specification of electrical building services (power, lighting, fire alarms, data/communications, security systems, etc.)
  • Manage projects from concept design through to detailed design and delivery
  • Coordinate with mechanical engineers and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions
  • Ensure designs are compliant with relevant UK standards and regulations (BS7671, CIBSE, Building Regulations, etc.)
  • Contribute to energy-efficient and sustainable design strategies

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a building services consultancy environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services design
  • Experience using industry software (e.g. Amtech, Dialux/Relux, Revit, AutoCAD)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines
