Data Protection Support Officer (12‑Week Assignment) Northampton Location: Northampton (Hybrid) Rate: £16.00 per hour Hours: 7 hours per day (plus 30‑minute lunch) Working Week: Up to 4 days per week (ideally 3 days if highly experienced) Contract Length: 12 weeks Your new role We are seeking a Data Protection Support Officer to join our client\’s team on a temporary 12‑week assignment. This role offers a part time arrangement and flexibility in working days, making it ideal for an experienced professional looking for a short‑term opportunity with impact. Support the organisation with information governance processes. Handle and process GDPR and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests accurately and efficiently. Ensure compliance with data protection legislation and internal policies. Provide guidance and support to colleagues on data protection matters. Assist with maintaining accurate records and documentation. What you\’ll need to succeed Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in information governance. Proven ability to process GDPR and FOI requests. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Previous experience working within a housing environment (preferred but not essential).
